1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you, or the organization you represent ("Customer", "you"), and Juracich Holdings LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Pageteer (the "Service"): a browser-rendering and web-search API, the dashboard and the documentation. By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box at sign-up or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP"), which forms part of them. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
The Service is intended for businesses and developers, not consumers. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We record the date and version of the Terms you accepted.
2. What the Service does
The Service fetches web pages you ask for (over HTTP or in a browser), returns their content in formats such as HTML, Markdown, screenshots and PDFs, extracts data, crawls sites within limits, and returns web search results. It acts on your instructions: you choose the targets and what you do with the results.
We do not guarantee that any target site is reachable, renders correctly or can be unblocked. Sites change, block automated traffic, or go down. Extraction (including LLM-based extraction) and search results may be incomplete or wrong; review them before you rely on them.
3. Accounts, teams and API keys
- You must give accurate account information and keep your password and API keys confidential.
- API keys belong to your team. You are responsible for all use of the Service with your keys, including use by anyone you share them with and use after a key leaks, until you revoke it.
- Owners and admins control who joins the team and what role they have, and are responsible for their members' use of the Service.
- Tell us promptly at security@pageteer.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use and your responsibility for targets
You must follow the AUP. In short: no automating logins, checkouts, account creation or form submissions; no denylisted categories of sites; no private or internal network targets; no harvesting of personal data beyond publicly listed business contact details.
You are solely responsible for your use of the content you fetch and for complying with the laws that apply to you and with the terms of service, robots directives and other rules of the sites you target. We may refuse, throttle or block any request, target or pattern of use at our discretion, including to protect target sites.
5. Credits, usage and billing
- Use of the API is measured in credits according to the credit table published on our pricing page at the time of the request. Credits are charged only for successful requests, as described in the credits documentation: a response from the target (including an error status such as 404) counts as success; our own failures, timeouts, and targets that block every tier we try or answer with a CAPTCHA are not charged.
- Each organization receives a number of free credits per calendar month (UTC). Unused free credits expire at the end of the month and have no cash value.
- If you add a payment method ("pay as you go") or we agree to invoice you, credits used beyond the free credits are billed monthly in arrears at the usage rates published on our pricing page, up to the monthly spend limit set for your organization. Pay-as-you-go charges are collected automatically from your payment method; invoices are due within the payment terms stated on them.
- You can remove your payment method or cancel at any time from the billing page; usage up to then is still billed.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing. Prices exclude taxes, which you are responsible for. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.
- We may change prices and credit costs with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict your account or any API key immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you are breaching these Terms or the AUP, your use creates a security, legal or operational risk, or a payment has failed. We will tell you why where we lawfully can.
You may stop using the Service at any time. A team owner can delete the team, and you can delete your account, from the dashboard; usage up to then is billed on a final invoice. We may terminate these Terms for convenience with 30 days' notice, or immediately for material breach. On termination your access ends; sections that by their nature should survive (fees owed, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) survive.
7. Your data
We process account information and request logs as described in our Privacy Policy. We keep request logs (URL, host, status, tier, credits, timing) for 30 days to operate, bill and protect the Service, and never store the pages you fetch as part of those logs. Crawl and batch results are kept for a limited time so you can retrieve them, as the Privacy Policy describes. You grant us the rights needed to process your requests.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT TARGET SITES WILL BE AVAILABLE, UNBLOCKED OR ACCURATELY RENDERED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US$100. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO YOUR OBLIGATION TO PAY FEES, YOUR INDEMNITY OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service, including claims by operators of sites you target and claims arising from content you fetch or how you use it, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard, and may ask you to accept the new version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. General
- Governing law and venue: these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting a legal claim, the party with the dispute will send written notice and both parties will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Any claim that is not resolved will be brought only in the state courts of Monroe County, Wisconsin, or the federal courts for the Western District of Wisconsin, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
- These Terms and the AUP are the entire agreement about the Service and replace prior agreements.
- If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
